Adjacent to the outdoor swimming pool, Chingari is an idyllic place to explore the exotic flavours of North India while enjoying the cool breeze that sweeps over the rooftop every evening.
The seating area is covered by a high wooden roof and separated from the pool by beautiful open latticework screens. The wide parquet floor is embellished with ebony inlay. Square wooden tables are flanked with locally crafted wooden armchairs. Copper-coloured water goblets gleam in the candlelight—adding to the earthy rustic charm of the setting.
I had been to this place a few days back and I was surprised that no one has reviewed this place on burrp. Well, first of all this is a roof top restaurant on the 9th floor of Le Meridien. As you walk out of the lift you can look at a calm swimming pool that has been dimly lit from the sides. There is a small well built wooden shack which houses 6 tables and a small bar.
