A sub-sandwich is, well, a sub-sandwich. Cold veggies, choice of cold or hot meats, and a plethora of dressings..completes the DIY thingy.
What defines the class of a subway restaurant, then, is the treatment met out to the customer, or the lack of it!
By the humblest standards, the service at this store is way under-par. The staff here is absolutely clueless as to the efficiency of making a sandwich. Whilst having eaten at international subway restaurants where the throughput time of one customer (having one standard sub) does not exceed 5 mins (at the maximum, during the peak lunch hour), it is regretful that a customer has to wait for 10 mins before even being asked what he wants to order (and that too when the number of customers in queue is hardly 7-10). The pathetic attitude reflects on the casual demeanor of the service staff and their absolute incompetence to ensure a pleasant experience to the customer. It is pricking to see the 'care-a-damn' attitude and as to why and how do they not incorporate an 'assembly-line' technique of making a sandwich is beyond me. Being a regular at this joint (or at least wanting to be more regular), I am very much put off by the ridiculous wait time (which has at times has put me in thinking mode to turn to other eating options). I hope that some good comes out of this feedback, and we see a dip in the frustration levels and a rise in the efficiency.
