Place to avoid on your Birthday

Great Ambience, perfect dim lighing, open air garden style restaurant, interesting music, not too loud, decent crowd, music mostly from the 50's and 60's, very decorative posters of golden oldies on the walls.
Wanted to share my experience of celebrating my 25th Birthday with my dutch neighbor at SOUL. Great menu barring the fact that they have very limited wines on the menu which in reality when you order they usually say we dont have or are out of stock... however we got a similar type of wine cabarnet shiraz from their wine list.
We ordered the Funghi Trifolati mushroom starters from their italian veg starters section, great appetizer, right amount of olive oil, a very large amount of garlic used but thats how i like it, great fresh pieces of garlic bread, amazing herbs.
for the main course we had Lasagna Dello Chef - lasagna with chicken filling and right amount of cheese, and the fusili with porcini sauce and extra topping of fish, prawns, squid and crabs this is a great dish to try out. The service is a little slow it took us abt 30 mins to get our dish which apparently the captain messes our order and got me a wrong item from the menu which i didn't order. I didn't however send the dish back as would've had to wait another 30 mins for my original order of Pollo in Crema di Funghi
In case you reach SOUL a little late, maybe after a long day at work at around 10:00 pm for a nice dinner and a couple of drinks you will be hurried to order as the bar and kitchen closes at 10:30pm.... entry to the restaurant also shuts some where that time as well. Ditto was the case for me on that day, we were asked to hurry through our wine and appetizers and since we wanted to celebrate my birthday and have a couple of more drinks we were forced to order up front as the bar was going to shut and we ordered about 4 glasses each of wine in advance and have them set on our table making us look like bevadis.. ...;)
The other thing to look out for was that towards the end of the noight after we had our main course it was a litle after 11: 30 pm and we were the only 2 ladies still munching on our remains of the main course, they had by that time cleaned all the tables, wrapped the table cloths, washed all the dirty linen and plates, turned off all candles from all adjoining tables, and were literally standing with the keys of the restaurant in their hands waiting for us to leave so that they can lock up and vamooz from there.
Overall ok night, feeling bad to have chosen SOUL on my bday, food was good, wine could have been better, u can go there on any other day but your birthday lest you are craving for a similar treatment.
