This place claims to be a south Indian restaurant. But fails to keep up to the standards that a south Indian restaurant needs to keep up with. Firstly, their quantity is very very very stingy for the price they have on the menu. Sabzi is served like Pickles!. Poori and Roti are served like a coin, just like those stingy Rajasthani / Gujarati Thali outlets. Their South India Thali for a enormous 150 bucks is elaborate. But all very little quantity. Never mind as the baking soda in the food makes you feel full anyways... Just one thing I liked was the Wada they make for starters and the accompany chutney they give (you have to plead with them to get the chutney though, which is also served like pickles). But again they have 4-6 tiny wada for a near to 100 buck. Dont they get that south Indian is very much about quantity!. And they serve more to the highway clients, they need to get their prices down, they are out on the PMC. Also next to a college... Bored of other regular restaurants and want to take a long ride, then visit this place. To return back to Pune you need to take a U turn on the Highway and thats a extra 2KM deroute!
