I have been here for my birthday taking a party of 16 people and other than the price no one was awed by the menu. Has a very restricted setup and service is not at all appreciable.
will not plan to visit again...

While the food is good, it's not that good to warrant the really crazy prices.
A modest meal (dinner - a la carte) for 4 with 2 dishes, 1 daal and parathas/roties came to 1800 rs. This, according to me, is quite expensive as the food was good, but not scrumptilicious.
We have been here on many office parties, etc., and since I never paid the bill, didn't pay much attention to the price vs quality factor.
I would recommend it only for big occassions like anniversaries, etc, and that too when you have cash to spend :)

I have been to this place three times in the recent past.
The first time I was here - was when I treated my friends to their buffet lunch on my birthday.
The lunch was brilliant! (to put it mildly)
It was one of the best buffets I have ever had and everybody loved the food. FYI, the lunch is an unlimited buffet and costs around 300 bucks inclusive of taxes - with a drink included (only beer in alcoholic drinks)
After this, we went here for a dinner party that I threw for my folk's 25th wedding anniversary. This was however, a la carte'. Though the food was decent, the service left something to be desired.
The waiter recommended all the wrong dishes and suggested wrong quantities too - which caused some stuff to be over ordered and some food ran out quickly. However, the overall experience was decent and not really bad.
The third time, I was invited by a friend for dinner.
This time, we went for the night barbecue buffet. I was excited because it really sounds tempting.
They have a sigree burning at each table and they serve starters - 80% cooked which you can barbecue yourself completely.
This is accompanied by an unlimited buffet and costs around 450 bucks inclusive of taxes - but without any drinks.
This however, did not end up as well as the lunch buffet.
The service at night was horrible and we had to wait a long time to get served. The barbecue, I felt, was over hyped.
The entire experience was gauche with us fumbling half the time and add to that the slow service.
Food again was mediocre at best.
Overall, the food is a lot better than most of the places around Pune - but the quality varies so much that I wonder whether I was lucky the first time I went for lunch.
I wouldn't recommend the dinner barbecue as I felt it was over hyped and painful.
The lunch buffet though is excellent and terrific value for money.

Sigree boasts of good food & I totally agree. Been there a couple of times now but from now on i will avoid it. The buffet is pretty good and salads are ok. The thing that stuck me was we were looking at their open (glassed) kitchen and we saw that the cooks who were putting chicken pieces on the barbecue sticks was now making roti's. The 2 ovens are used interchangeably for barbecue and making Rotis. It was shocking to see such a negligence in such a reputed restaurant.
Agreed that this might (or will) happen in many other restaurants that i have had food, but atleast not in front of my eyes.
So i wouldnt advice this place to other vegetarians

Well I had been here on my b'day with my family & again with my ofc colleagues from australia....Let me tell that both the times I had a unique experience be it the quality/taste of the food or hospitality of the staff..it was the best. They serve beautiful chutneys & achars with starters which cannot be found/tasted in any other restaurent in pune. The roasted urid papads in cone shape is their speciality. being a vegeterian I had limited menu to select but all of them were unique in their own way..the main course was awesome with mixed vegetables & rumali rotis....the veg pulav wasexcellent..the food is completely oil free & the combination of the spices is unique. A must place to visit for special ocassions.
