Agree.. the wait staff is pretty good and they won't bother you even if you are around for a long time. Nice ambiance, comfortable sitting, good place for semi-casual business meetings.

The decor is not very different from the usual hotel lounges, the same old largish chairs and sofas. Very rarely would you find a five star hotel coffee lounge to be flexible enough to let you sit around without interrupting your meeting and bothering you into getting something from their menu. The Le Meridien Tea Lounge is a pleasant exception. Part of the reason could be that its the main waiting area of the hotel. Haven't tried too much here except for a cappuccino and iced tea. The cappuccino was not bad at all whereas the iced tea was a little too sweet.
BTW - these guys are open to serving you coffee/ tea in the nearby Entresol bar ( In case you want to say- watch a cricket match on the plasmas there and don't want to be forced to buy a drink)
