Whenever craving struck for tasting that irreplaceable homemade traditional food with all the spices and the works, me and my friends made it a point to frequent this nondescript little traditional joint tucked away on JM Road. Renowned for its fabulous Maharashtrian Cuisine, the delicacies on offer here are simply mouthwatering. Mine personal favorite were Kaju curry & Aloo chi wadi, something that were regulars on every visit. If would like to have a bit of variety , then the thali is highly recommended as it offers a good mix of various items along with 'pooran poli' or some other sumptuous desert. Most of my friends being outsiders, this place proved to be the perfect one to savor the taste of Maharashtra.
So next time you are in town and are having that burning desire to taste something authentic, make a trip to this little food joint.Believe me, you won't be

This place is a sure shot. Just go there to relish the awesome authentic food.
It is a small thali eatery so dont expect shots in terms of the ambiance. But wait till you are served the food.
As soon as you are seated the first thing to order without referring to the menu card is the batatawada. They are the best i have ever had (my mouth is watering as i write this).
Other good snacks are aloowadi and sabudana wada.
For the main meal order a fixed thali. It will have usal, besan, one subji (if it is vangi as in brinjal u would be lucky), daal, some bhajji, 2-3 types of chutney, choice of juwar or bajre ka roti. Add a matka dahi to this thali and you will surely love it.
For a sweet ending, try sitaphal basundi or a rabdi.
A sure shot place for great food.
