4, SRI Krishna Temple Road, Near Imperial, Indiranagar, Bangalore

Good

You have to overeat!

I recently moved out of Bangalore and one of the things I miss the most is Sue's Kitchen. The buffet spread on Sundays is especially excellent. My favourites were the mutton patties, fried bananas and the soup.

Oh and the carrot cake dessert. Tip: Try the Cocorico with your food. It goes really well.

6 East Street Camp, Camp Cantonment, Pune

Good

Yum, cakes!

Kayani Bakery is an institution and most people visiting Pune often ask to be taken to the place to take back something with them. The best offerings are the cakes, wine biscuits and also the shrewsbury biscuits. If you are fond of good bread, you could pick up a fresh loaf here. Amazing.

759/75 Goodluck Chowk, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune

Good

Irani goodness!

Kheema pav, mutton samosas, bun-maska and chicken with fried eggs. Open till late night, Good Luck is an old haunt for partygoers who need a bite to end the night!

It's probably not the cleanest place on earth, but for the prices they charge, you can't expect more. The quantity is adequate and it is almost never too costly.

For a late afternoon snack, try the bun-maska and tea. Quite a kickstart that can give!

6 M.G. Road, M G Road, Camp Cantonment, Pune

Good

Fast, great and unique food

You may wonder what is unique about a fast-food place. Marz-O-Rin is no ordinary fast-food place. A must-visit place, the sandwiches is what everyone goes here for. The chutney, vegetable and cheese sandwiches are to die for. Always fresh and soft as clouds, the sandwiches are the biggest draw.
But you should also try the rosemilk and the walnut brownies. And the macaroons. Quite amazing. During mango season, the mango milkshake is rather good too.
The only complaint about this place can be the cramped interiors. Not much can be done about this, though. Or can it?
