Good
Sophisticated South Indian Fare
well the review title shouldnt make you scratch your head....what i mean is this place is awesome for its south indian fare but is a way too costly combined with some unusual dish names !
we had kanchipuram achari rava masala dosa,butter garlic idli and some type of uttapam.....pretty unusal dishes indeed ! and werent they smackilicious or what ?
in a matter of minutes 5 of us finished all 3 dishes and were hungry for more....
plus the ambience is mind-boggling !!!! spiritual to the core with spiritual instrumental played in the background,essence in the air and a replica of a famous south indian temple carved on the wall.....
now combine that with that type of food is heavenly....the only negative point being the tad higher rates.
highly recommended.

well the place gets top marks for its ambience no doubt.....they also have an extensive wine ist to suit your palate....
another plus point is the service....the waiters are very polite and also quite knowledgeable....
now regarding the food....pretty decent nothing extra-ordinary as i had anticipated.....keep away from paneer dishes here....also i ordered a taftan but i did not live up to my expectation...the mocktails were okaiysh but not recommended for its high cost....
so in a nutshell nice place to be having wonderful ambience but not much for its food....

Not Much....
while roaming around phoenix mills i came across this restaurant and had a sudden urge to eat something sweet so my friend and i zeroed in on the tiramisu.....yup just the tiramisu !!
well the presentation was quite unique and the item itself would get the same description.it was very much on the bitter side which i personally don't prefer.though it was pretty good it came no where near to what i have eaten at some other places like brio's......also as it cost us something like 200 bucks for just 1 tiramisu it certainly isn't on the cheaper side so think twice before thinking of eating out here.....this place ain't for the faint of wallet !!
but still overall a good place to go....

the first thing you notice about kareem's is its gorgeous interiors and ambience.and for me ambience is one of the most important factors which go on to decide if the restaurant gets a thumbs up or not and kareem's certainly gets two thumbs up !!
the other brownie point is its open kitchen....watch your kebab being made right in front of you !
so onto the food first we ordered for a veg.platter which was really very filling.
next to the the main course and the paneer makhani was awesome....so soft was the paneer ! i had heard a lot about taftan and so i went on to order those and i found it so delicious that i went on to order another 2 !!
finally we ordered the malai phirni and frankly speaking it was a complete and i mean a complete letdown ! it was more of a kheer than phirni.
the service was good and the waiters were very friendly and the prices were moderate.
so all in all a good experience !

Egg Bhurji
my friends and i stopped by this place to have a quick bite and found us alone at a time when you expect the restaurant to have atleast some customers.
but nonetheless we ordered for egg-bhurji which arrived after ages....but the food made up for it !
in short the best egg-bhurji i have ever eaten and i mean ever !
also we ordered solkadhi (a maharashtrian speciality) which i found to be disgusting and couple that with the atrocious service didnt do much to liven my mood.
